Women on Mission
An ongoing missions involvement and learning opportunity that extends across the globe. Through opportunities to participate in missions and ministries, women are enabled to experience a variety of ways to serve Christ and develop a missions lifestyle. Ultimately, the purpose of all Women on Mission activities is that every person has the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel. Spotswood’s Women on Mission meet quarterly to pray for missionaries, learn about missions, and plan and/or participate in mission projects.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of February, May, August, and November from 7:00-8:30 PM in room E108.
Spotswood Stitchers (for those who knit, crochet, sew, quilt or want to learn to make blankets, hats, scarves, shawls, etc. to give to those who are in need, ill, homebound or hurting) meets every Monday from 10 a.m. to noon in room E108 for those who sew and quilt.
For an exhaustive list of the many ways you can get involved with Women on Mission and for a look ahead at some of our big events coming up this year, please see our Women on Mission Guide Sheet.

Spotswood MOMs exists to connect and encourage women with young children to grow in their roles as mothers through biblical principles. Our group meets the first and third Thursday of the month, October through May. Our meetings provide fellowship and learning opportunities that equip moms with practical skills for many mothering challenges. MOMs also offers many activities outside of regular meetings for moms, kids and families to enjoy. Our group began over 10 years ago as a MOPs group meeting at Spotswood Baptist Church and still holds the same structure and opportunities to local mothers as we have in the past.
MOMs is available to women in the local area with children 0-5 years old. Childcare is available during our meetings for children of MOMs members. Children are placed in classes by age and enjoy fun and learning opportunities with caring workers.
